Ciao Tony, arrivata ieri la camera e subito installata, mi sembra molto valida quasi da poter sostituire le Canon anche solo per il risparmio della corrente..questo è il link del server dove appoggio le immagini per la prova: www.pettarelli.it/swpi/raspi.jpg

Sicuramente in una scatola stagna tipo gewiss usata negli impianti elettrici, ma non so se è possibile far uscire da un piccolo foro calibrato e poi siliconato solo la lente della camera senza interporre nessun vetro per eliminare ulteriori disturbi.
la piccola lente sarà però stagna??

Ciao Roberto, ho prima aggiornato il firmware con il cmd: sudo apt-get update seguito da sudo apt-get upgrade poi sono entrato in raspi-config ed ho abilitato la camera ma forse questo passaggio è superfluo se si abilita la camera da swpi.cfg, poi Tony ci darà conferma.tutto qua

Ok io infatti ho fatto l'update e l'upgrade su un RASPI con raspian e funziona perfettamente. Su quello con swpi ho solo aggiornato swpi ma no va.

Salve ragazzi, guardando le foto che sta mettendo online mpettar sul suo sito mi sorge il dubbio che l'angolo di visuale della cam sia un poo' stretto, voi che ne dite? ci sono sistemi conosciuti (aggiungendo delle lenti per esempio) per allargare il campo visivo ed ottenere maggiore porzione di panorama che voi sappiate?

Bene .. iniziano ad arrivare.
Per il sw avevo abbozzato il driver e dopo l'aggiornamento del sistema descritto da mpettar .. non resta che provare ad abilitare l'opzione use_cameraPI.

La mia ancora non è arrivata e non posso provare.

Montaggio minimalista della Raspi A con Camera Board, prima di provarla in esterno bisognerà mettere un vetro di protezione alla lente.

Confermo aggiornando la RaspiCam funziona
Sono d'accordo per il vetrino, penso sia obbligatorio. Non dovrebbe dare nessun problema. Tanto più che il sistema un po' scalda, quindi non dovrebbero esserci problemi di condensa.

Stasera vado a letto presto :-)
Purtroppo la bufera di neve che ha fatto al cucco mi ha creato problemi al BMP e DHT. Tutti e 2 fuori uso.

Tu dimmi se sono cose da fare il 25 Maggio !!!!!

anche io sono interessato al sistema, sto vedendo le foto nella nuova posizione e non mi sembrano male affatto, ovviamente la qualità della Canon è altra ma per sistemi anche remoti con pannello è un'ottima soluzione.
a livello di consumi quanto inciderebbe?

Io non ho mai fatto dei test seri sui consumi delle Canon. Comunque nei primi test in cui andavo a batterie ( da circa 1200mAh) non duravano piu di 24 h .. quindi non sono trascurabili.

tony,l'immagine scattata con la camera board risulta a specchio si può capovolgere usando questo comando: raspistill -hf -o image.jpg (raspi.jpg)

Questi sono i comandi possibili per settare la camera io ho dato da terminale: raspistill -hf -o raspi.jpg e dal monitor funziona l'immagine risulta normale ma quando invia al server è rovesciata.

Primi due gg di prove con la CameraPI
Prima impressione ottima , provata da sola , e provata insieme ad una Canon su USB , funzionamento ok , soloche' sul log occorrerebbe qualche rapporto in piu' sul funzionamento ,poi ..Raspi.jpg e' molto pesante (secondo il mio parere )sarebbe auspicabile la possibilita' di un settaggio dal"WebConfig".
Ho poi notato un comportamento ..strano/anomalo ..avvengono due scatti consecutivi ..a distanza di un 40 secondi !!?? sara' colpa di un qualche mio settaggio strano ??, questo avviene anche senza la canon abilitata.

Riguardo al consumo delle Canon ...e' vero non e' assolutamente trascurabile ..anzi !!all'atto dello scatto il consumo supera 1 A a riposo sta' sotto i 500 mA.cosi mi sembra di ricordare .
Per ora tutto qua'..

Nell'ultima versione il parametro -hf è inserito di default e le immagini vengono ridimensionate alla stessa risoluzione della camera.

Ho momentaneamente ridimensionato la raspi.jpg aggiungendo queste opzioni
-w 1024 -h 768 al file CameraPI.py in questo spezzone di riga "raspistill %s -o %s -w 1024 -h 768"
ha ridimensionato la foto in modo ragionevole non perdendo eccessivamente in qualita'.
Tony ..confermo la stranezza/anomalia del doppio scatto ravvicinato 45/50 sec. circa per poi ricominciare il normale conteggio dei 300 sec come da settaggio.
Ne ho un'altra di stranezza !!! non avevo mai ascoltato l'audio per il modo "Radio" ...ripete 2 volte ogni file.mp3 es: bip bip estsudest estsudest da da 0 0 a a 30 30 ecc.ecc.da notare che la doppia lettura e' come se venisse letta da due player diversi sfalsata di qualche microsecondo!!bhaa! probabilmente il mio raspy si sta' adattando alle stranezze del suo...conduttore/proprietario !!! :ohmy:

Salve a tutti.. come procedono le prove con la camera?

Da ieri mi ci sono messo anche io (ma devo ancora montarla sul rasp-swpi)... sembra vada alla grande!

Una nota per tutti: vi consiglio di aggiornare il firmware con rpi-update perchè (come hanno scritto qui ) negli ultimi giorni hanno sistemato il fattore di crop della camera.... prima usava solo la parte centrale del sensore e veniva fuori una specie di zoom.
Adesso l'angolo di visione dovrebbe essere molto più ampio! ;)

Finalmente riesco a fare un po' di prove con la camera...
Un primo risultato che ho è questo:
